 Current Status
  • Staff Report 2020-0307 proceeded to Council on September 22, 2020. The purpose of the report was to seek Council direction regarding the position of the Town in respect of the appeal of the Official Plan Amendment, Draft Plan of Subdivision and Zoning By-law Amendment.
  • The applicant has appealed three applications as a decision on the applications had not been made within specified timelines in the Planning Act. For more information on the appeal, please visit the Ontario Land Tribunal's website.
  • The Case Management Conference was held on December 2, 2020. During the Case Management Conference the Town was granted party status. The Case Management Conference decision is available on the Ontario Land Tribunal Website.

Official Plan Amendment

The Official Plan Amendment proposes to re-designate the lands from Low Density Residential to a site-specific High Density Residential designation.

Draft Plan of Subdivision
The proposed Plan of Subdivision proposes to create one residential condominium block, and two environmental blocks.
Draft Plan of Condominium

The Plan of Condominium proposes create a common element tenure for an internal private road and visitor parking. A future Part Lot Control application will be submitted to create the individual parcels of tied land.

Zoning By-law Amendment

The Zoning By-law Amendment proposes to amend the zoning of the property from Rural Residential (RR) to a site-specific Townhouse Residential (RT-XX) Zone.
