 About the Accessibility Advisory Committee
The Accessibility Advisory Committee is responsible for raising community awareness surrounding persons with disabilities and provides advice and recommendations to Council on ensuring a barrier-free Caledon. The Committee focuses on the review of site plans, playgrounds and community parks, pursuant to the standards as outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Accessibility Plans and Reports

Multi-Year Accessibility Plan

The Town's Multi-Year Accessibility Plan is a five-year plan that helps to identify, remove and prevent accessibility barriers for residents, visitors and businesses. The MYAP is a road map for how the Town will build on previous accomplishments to meet the needs of our rapidly growing community and diverse population. 

Annual Status Reports

The Town prepares an annual status report on the progress of measures taken to implement strategies outlined in our Multi-Year Accessibility Plan.

Alternative Formats and Assistive Devices

You can request a document in an alternative format such as large print or with ASL interpretation. The Town also have assistive listening devices in the Council Chambers available for your use.
