Accessibility Advisory Committee

Our Accessibility Advisory Committee advises Council on accessibility issues and helps develop our Accessibility Plan.

Accessibility Plan

The Town's Accessibility Plan helps identify, remove and prevent accessibility barriers. We update the Plan every four years.

Annual Reporting

We report yearly on activities we took to remove barriers and improve accessibility for persons with disabilities.

Accessibility Training

This training includes:

  • The purpose of the AODA;
  • Requirements of the Customer Service Standard;
  • How to interact with people with various disabilities;
  • Our Accessibility Policy, Accessible Customer Service Procedure, and practices;
  • How to identify different types of barriers; and
  • Sensitivity awareness when serving customers.
