Council Decision Database

ThCouncil decision dashboard provides an overview of all the decisions made by Council during their term and their status: 

  • Council decisions vary in complexity and length. Some decisions are complete upon the decision being made, while others may take longer to complete. 

  • Departments that are assigned Council decisions vary in volume and complexity. The status depends on the department's responsibility or function. 

How to use the Database
  • Desktop or tablet devices are recommended for the best viewing experience. 

  • Click on the full screen button in the bottom-right corner to enlarge the dashboard. 

  • Select filters to narrow the scope of the charts by department, decision status and date of ratification. 

  • Use the search field to quickly search for keywords in Council decisions. 

  • Click the Reset button in the top-right corner to return to the default, unfiltered view.

  • Click the Export button to export the database to an Excel spreadsheet.

Status Definitions
  • Complete: All required actions for implementation of the listed previous Council decision have been completed.
  • In-progress: Actions for implementation of the listed previous Council decisions have begun or are partially completed.
  • Outstanding: Actions for implementation of the listed previous Council decision have yet to begin regardless of whether it has been scheduled to begin.
Database Features
  • A "Decision by Status" chart with the total Council decisions that are complete,  in progress, or outstanding. 
  • A "Decisions by Department" chart with the total Council decisions for each department that are complete, in progress, or outstanding. 
  • A table listing each Council decision ratification meeting date, its associated agenda title, the approved decision wording, associated department and status. 
  • Filters to narrow the scope of the charts by department, decision status, date of ratification and keyword search term.
  • Exporting or downloading of the data.
