As you may be aware, there was an oil spill last week at one of our stormwater ponds in Bolton near Coleraine Drive and George Bolton Parkway.
Our staff have been working with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Peel Spills and Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks to assess the area and contain the spill. The site is secure and remediation efforts are underway.

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION
Porterfield Road Culvert Replacement, Alton
As part of RFT 2025-058, Porterfield Road will be closed for a culvert replacement. The closure will be approximately 425m south of Queen Street East. The area will be fully restored at the end of the project.
Access for Emergency Services, Student Transportation Services, Waste Collection, and Postal Services will be obstructed. Construction notification signs will be installed and maintained throughout the project.

CALEDON, ON (June 25, 2025) – All Town of Caledon offices and non-emergency services including Recreation, Library, Animal Services and Provincial Offences Courts, in Orangeville and Caledon East, will be closed on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 for Canada Day. Offices will be open Monday, June 30 and reopen Wednesday, July 2.

CALEDON, ON (June 24, 2025) – The Town of Caledon is responding to a spill in a stormwater pond in Bolton near Coleraine Drive and George Bolton Parkway.
The site has been secured, and the Town has been working closely with its partners, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Peel Spills and Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks to assess the area and contain the spill.
