CALEDON, ON (January 27, 2026) – The Town of Caledon unveiled a commemorative plaque today recognizing the service and legacy of No. 2 Construction Battalion, Canada’s largest Black military unit. The plaque also honours Caledon resident Thomas Bush, a member of the Battalion who died during the First World War.
