Our Award-winning Diwali Drone Show and Festival for 2026 returns on November 7!
The Town of Caledon is excited to celebrate the Festival of Lights on Saturday, November 7, from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m., at the Brampton Fairgrounds (12942 Heartlake Road, Caledon).
Attracting over 4,000 attendees, the Diwali Drone Show is an annual Town of Caledon event celebrating the festival of lights within the Caledon community. Featuring a spectacular display of over 200 drones, the show illuminates the sky with various symbols that embody the essence of Diwali. Join us for the show and enjoy vibrant musical beats to enhance the festive atmosphere. This innovative and captivating light show is an experience you won't want to miss!
Backup Date - This event is weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, the drone show will be rescheduled for Sunday, November 8 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Call for Food Vendors and Performers
This year, the Town of Caledon is expanding this event by adding food vendors and performers to add to the celebration. Interested in participating? Visit our application forms below for more details and to apply.

In April 2024, the Town of Caledon was awarded the prestigious Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA) Award by Parks and Recreation Ontario for our ground-breaking Diwali Drone Show. It is also a great example of innovation and responding to the needs of our community, while also adhering to our fireworks bylaw regulations. The success of the Diwali Drone Show underscores the importance of expanding community events programs, a central pillar of our upcoming Parks and Recreation Strategy.
