New Affordable Transit Program

The Town of Caledon, City of Brampton and the City of Mississauga, in partnership with Peel Region, are expanding the Affordable Transit Program (ATP) to improve transit affordability for low-income residents. As of April 1, 2026, eligible residents will receive a 50 per cent subsidy on single PRESTO fares when travelling on Brampton Transit.

Eligibility and how to apply

Caledon residents with incomes below the Low-Income Measure thresholds are eligible to apply for the subsidy through Peel Region. Applicants can apply online and will require their most recent Notice of Assessment and a registered PRESTO card.
