Music in the Park
Join us for Music in the Park at Dennison Park in Southfields Village! Soak up the summer weather while enjoying family-friendly entertainment featuring local artists and a wide variety of musical genres.
Music in the Park is free to attend and takes place weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. throughout July and August.

| July 2 - Wilson and the Castaways - 6-7 p.m. |

Wilson & The Cast Aways is a two-time Mississauga Music Award nominated indie-folk group sharing stories in song. Banjos, acoustic guitars, mandolin and more, support their signature vocal harmonies, as the group shares original songs or puts their folky twist on well-known tunes. The Cast Aways are excited to be releasing their debut record this fall with the lead single ‘Twenty-Nine’ available to stream now.

| July 2 - Shelagh Haney - 7-8 p.m. |
|
Shelagh is a Toronto-based folk-country singer/songwriter who is so proud to be able to call Caledon her hometown! Loved for her catchy melodies, clever lyrics, and guitar-picking skills, she is also a National Theatre School/Second City alum who charms audiences with laughs, stories, and moments of poignancy. Shelagh performs nationwide, across the pond, and showcases in Nashville, where she has recorded her upcoming debut album 110 to Whitehorse.

| July 9 - Barry and Bass - 6-7 p.m. |

Barry Mulcahy and David Bartlett are both Caledon Residents and experienced Amateur Musicians. Barry is a singer/songwriter and a deeply experienced acoustic guitar player and live music performer. David is also an experienced live music performer who plays bass guitar and standup bass as well as singing backup vocals. These two musical friends bring their skills and experience together to play a variety of popular cover tunes for audiences and music lovers. We have played many shows together and separately in the Caledon area and even at Caledon sponsored events like Music in the Park (2024 and 2025) and Winterlude.

Arielle Perez is a 19-year-old Filipino-Canadian singer/songwriter from Caledon, Ontario, who’s quickly emerging as one of the most compelling young voices with a sound that blends pop, R&B, and various genres. She has opened for major Filipino acts including BINI, Moira Dela Torre, and Ben&Ben, and has performed as a featured artist at events such as Caledon’s Music in the Park 2025, Caledon Day 2025 headlined by The Strumbellas, and the 2025 RBC Canadian Open.

| July 16 - Jammer's Waffle House - 6-7 p.m. |

Jammer's Waffle House is an award-winning indie rock band founded through a strong passion to make music and entertain. Their high energy performances have drawn in audiences no matter where they perform and always leave them wanting one more song. The band has made an impact both locally and internationally with a two charting singles in the UK, three performances on Rogers Hometown Hockey and monthly can't miss performances around the GTA.

| July 16 - Molly Bince - 7-8 p.m. |

Molly Bince is a 19-year-old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Caledon. She is currently pursuing Professional Music at TMU. A born performer, Molly has been composing and performing her own music since she could speak! Blending pop and alternative rock sounds with her country twang, Molly strives to create a unique blend of sounds in her work. She currently has her debut single "Disguising Neglect" out on all streaming platforms, and listeners should expect a second release this summer! Molly performs a combination of original music and covers from the 70s-now. As much as she loves the city, she loves nothing more than performing in her hometown.

We are a Mississauga based trio. We work our magic with crafted backing tracks (Pro VST instruments) and live guitars and keyboards all to supporting our lead vocals & harmonies. We cover Motown, R&B, Northern Soul, reggae, country and pop classics, of which span from 60’s through to today.

| July 23 - Holli Ward - 7-8 p.m. |
|
Holli is a 27-year-old child at heart right from Orangeville! She moved to Sudbury in 2017 and is now back home after almost 10 years! She graduated from Cambrian College in the Music Performance program and has quite the background of teaching music. Holli has taught private voice lessons throughout high school here in town, and after participating as a student in her local theatre, she found her passion in musical directing. Over the years, she has taught many choirs and ensembles, as well as musicals with Lasalle Secondary School, Sudbury Performance Group and YES Theatre. She loves to sing Opera and Jazz and has many awards and credits in both categories.

| July 30 - No Refunds and Friends - 6-7 p.m. |

No Refunds and Friends consists of four (sometimes more) members with a passion for music. We are a Caledon-based band that plays in the Peel and Wellington regions. Steve S., Bruce F., Art F. and Jim N. have played together for approximately two years. No Refunds are an acoustic multi-instruments band playing classic rock and roots music. Jim also hosts the Homemade Jam music program at Caledon Senior Centre and hope to have some seniors help us out with a few numbers.

| July 30 - Nicole Christian - 7-8 p.m. |

Nicole Christian is a little roots, a little country and a whole lot bottle-neck blues. She is multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and educator who specializes in flute, piano and resophonic guitar. You can usually find her somewhere in Southern Ontario or upstate NY, occasionally as far as Memphis or Mexico. Even her sad songs are sure to get your toes tapping.

| August 6 - Inka's Band - 6-7 p.m. |

Indigenous group from South America, consists of two members: Vicente Carbonel (Pan flute player from Peru) & Sayri Villa (Guitar player from Ecuador) playing at different festivals and events in Ontario sharing their culture through the music using different type of pan flutes, guitar, charango (Peruvian ukulele). Inka's Band music is family oriented and appeals to all ages.

Nix Ironstone doesn’t just step into a new era—she sets it on fire. Formerly known as Nicole Rayy, she spent over a decade carving out her place in the Canadian country scene, building a loyal fanbase and earning a reputation as a passionate advocate for women in music. Now, with a new name and a bold shift in sound, she’s stepping fully into her most authentic artistic identity. Blending indie and alternative rock with a dark, goth-pop edge, Nix Ironstone delivers music that is raw, cinematic, and unapologetically powerful.

| August 13 - Caledon Concert Band - 6-7 p.m. |

The band has been in existence for 50 years playing in Caledon and the surrounding area. We have approximately 30 members and rehearse at the local Baptist church. We seek out young musicians at high school and offer them a chance to extend and improve their musicality skills. We put on four concerts each year at the Baptist church. We perform at the Strawberry Festival, the Stratford Summer Concert Series.

We've performed at The Humber River Centre in Bolton as part of the Cross Currents Cafe Concert Series to street festivals on College Street in Toronto to large Italian Day Celebrations across Bolton and Vaughan to retirement homes. |

Cody Luciano, (or “Stage name” Cody Rockwell) is a multi-instrumentalist jack-of-all-trades and vocalist that has been jamming the Peel Region and beyond since phones flipped and MySpace was still a thing. With a song list of covers ranging from modern hits to the classic tunes that no one ever forgets - spanning many decades, genres, artists and bands; the aim is to bring people together through music.

I am a solo performer specializing in Bollywood music combining vocal performance with karaoke tracks and Acoustic guitar instrumentals. My style blends classic and modern Hindi songs in an engaging unplugged format. Passionate about music. I enjoy connecting with audience through soulful melodies and popular Bollywood hits. I am self-taught musician and have developed skills by learning and practicing songs through listening and playing on guitar and keyboard.
