December 22, 2025 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is implementing a new Tree Preservation By-law aimed at protecting trees on private property and preserving the environmental, social, and economic benefits they provide to the community. Taking effect on January 1, 2026, the By-law regulates the injury, removal, or destruction of trees outside of woodlands that are 30 centimetres or greater in diameter, measured at breast height (1.37 metres above the ground).

CALEDON, ON (December 15, 2025) – The Town of Caledon has officially adopted the 2026 Budget, focusing on growth, infrastructure and community services.
The $257 million budget includes an $168 million operating plan and an $89 million capital plan, with a 2.27% property tax increase and a 1% infrastructure levy.

CALEDON, ON (December 11, 2025) – Town of Caledon wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday season. Town offices and non-emergency services including Provincial Offences Courts, in Orangeville and Caledon East, will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025 (after 12 p.m.) to Thursday, January 1, 2026, inclusive, and will re-open for business on Friday, January 2, 2026.
