Town of Caledon 2023 Budget Approved

Town Council unanimously approved the 2023 budget at yesterday’s Council meeting.

The 2023 budget will have a tax rate increase of 2.39 per cent including the portion for the Region of Peel and school boards. The impact for the typical household will be approximately $130 a year.

2023-2035 Caledon Strategic Plan Approved

Regional Government Transition Board 

Council voted to ask the Province to as soon as possible, form the Transition Board for Bill 112, “Hazel McCallion Act” that dissolves the of the Region of Peel and set a work plan that makes decisions quickly.
