A Statutory Public Meeting will be held to provide those interested an opportunity to make representation with respect to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment. Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.

Proposed Changes
The applicant has submitted applications for a Zoning By-law Amendment and a Draft Plan of Subdivision to facilitate a residential development consisting of (22) three-storey townhouse units within 4 residential blocks fronting onto a common element condominium road. Also included in the proposal are 2 road widening blocks and 1 environmental protection block.
The applicant is proposing to rezone the property to a Residential Townhouse Zone with site-specific exceptions to facilitate this development, and an Environmental Policy Area 1 Zone to facilitate the protection of natural heritage features.

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Caledon to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed zoning by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. |
