This is to inform you that the Town of Caledon has received an application for an Official Plan Amendment. A statutory Public Meeting will be held to provide those interested an opportunity to make representation with respect to the proposed Official Plan Amendment. Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.
Please be advised that the Town of Caledon is offering a Hybrid Meeting model with in-person or virtual options for you to engage with Council and Committees.

Proposed Changes
The applicant has submitted an Official Plan Amendment application (File: POPA 2026-0002) to create the Healey Gore Secondary Plan. The proposed Healey Gore Secondary Plan Area has an area of approximately 40 hectares (98.8 acres) and redesignates the lands to Neighbourhood Area, Urban Corridor, and Natural Features and Area designations. A conceptual road network is also shown on the proposed Land Use Plan.
The Secondary Plan is intended to facilitate approximately 835 single-detached, semi-detached and townhouse dwellings, a neighbourhood park and access to open space.

| Appeal Procedure |
| If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Caledon to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed official plan amendment is adopted, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. |
