Property Description

The subject lands is located at 12879 The Gore Road, on the east side of The Gore Road and south of Healey Road.

 Official Plan Amendment

The applicant has submitted an Official Plan Amendment application (File: POPA 2026-0002) to create the Healey Gore Secondary Plan. The proposed Healey Gore Secondary Plan Area has an area of approximately 40 hectares (98.8 acres) and redesignates the lands to Neighbourhood Area, Urban Corridor, and Natural Features and Area designations. A conceptual road network is also shown on the proposed Land Use Plan. 

The Secondary Plan is intended to facilitate approximately 835 single-detached, semi-detached and townhouse dwellings, a neighbourhood park and access to open space.

 Draft Plan of Subdivision

The applicant has submitted a Draft Plan of Subdivision application (File: 21T-26005C) to facilitate a residential development consisting of 128 single-detached dwelling units, 430 semi-detached dwelling units and 227 townhouse dwelling units. The proposed development also includes a neighbourhood park, a stormwater management pond, environmental protection and an internal road network.
