June is Recreation and Parks Month in Caledon with Free Activities and Events

May 30, 2025 (CALEDON, ON) – June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM) and the Town of Caledon invites residents of all ages to get active, connect with nature, and celebrate the benefits of parks and recreation. Recognized province-wide, it promotes the role recreation and parks play in building strong, healthy, and vibrant communities.

“June is Recreation and Parks Month, which provides an opportunity to highlight the important role active living plays in our lives,” said Mayor Annette Groves, Town of Caledon. “We invite everyone to take advantage of these free opportunities, try something new, and enjoy all that Caledon’s parks and recreation spaces have to offer. Let’s get moving and make this month one to remember!”

Throughout June, thanks to the Town’s ongoing commitment to community vitality and support from ParticipACTION Canada’s Community Challenge, residents are encouraged to explore the many free activities and outdoor amenities across our region.
