June 1, 2026 (CALEDON, ON) – This June, the Town of Caledon is celebrating June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM) by encouraging residents to get outdoors, stay active, and enjoy the many benefits that parks and recreation bring to the community. Celebrated across Ontario, JRPM recognizes the important role recreation spaces and programs play in supporting healthy lifestyles, social connection, and vibrant communities.
“June is Recreation and Parks Month is a great reminder of how important active living and outdoor spaces are to our overall well-being,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “Whether it’s joining a program, visiting a local park, or simply spending more time outside, we encourage residents of all ages to get involved, explore something new, and make the most of the opportunities available throughout Caledon this month.”
