NOTICE – ROAD RE-OPEN
PROJECT NAME: Castlederg Sideroad – Emergency Culvert Replacement
PROJECT LOCATION: Castlederg Sideroad (between Mount Pleasant and Mount Wolfe Road)
Road Reopened: Castlederg Road from Mount Pleasant Road to Caledon/King Townline Road.
The emergency culvert replacement works on Castlederg are completed and the road is re-open to the public.

June 21, 2023 (CALEDON, ON) – The spongy moth outbreak that peaked in 2021 has declined significantly this year. The spongy moth is still present in some regions of Ontario, however outbreak areas and severity will continue to decline in 2023.

CALEDON, ON (June 20, 2023) – Today, Mayor and Council acknowledged Carol Seglins as the 2023 Senior of the Year at Council.
This award recognizes an outstanding senior who, after age 65, enriches the social, cultural or civic life of the community.
“I extend my sincerest congratulations to Carol on this recognition,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “It is active and involved members in the community, like Carol, that make Caledon a great place to work, live and play.”

Each year, the Town of Caledon adds 40 to 50 km of marked cycling routes to provide safe cycling for Caledon residents and visitors.
