Town of Caledon Invites Community to Annual Tree Lighting Celebration
CALEDON, ON (November 13, 2025) – The Town of Caledon invites residents to embrace the holiday spirit at its annual Tree Lighting Celebration on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. outside Town Hall at the Caledon East Community Campus.
The free, family-friendly event will feature holiday music, photos with Santa (from 6:15 – 7:30 p.m.), complimentary refreshments, and a warming station and crafts for the kids inside Town Hall. The festivities begin at 5:45 p.m. with story time with Mrs. Claus and Santa, followed by the official tree lighting at 6 p.m.
Residents are encouraged to bring letters for Santa, which can be mailed to the North Pole at the event, and non-perishable food items to support The Exchange Food Bank, helping local families in need this season.
“The Tree Lighting Celebration is a wonderful example of how our community comes together to share in the spirit of connection and giving,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “This event is a great example of our commitment to building a connected community and fostering belonging. I invite everyone to come celebrate the joy of the season with family, friends, and neighbours.”
The Tree Lighting Celebration is one of Caledon’s most cherished seasonal traditions, welcoming residents of all ages to enjoy a magical evening that captures the warmth and community spirit of the holidays.
