Remembrance Day Public Displays of Significance

In addition to the ceremonies, the Town has collaborated with the Region of Peel to install public displays of significance for Remembrance Day and for the Veteran community. New Commemorative Crosswalks, honouring veterans and those currently serving in the Canadian Armed Forces have been installed at:

  • Bolton: Highway 50 and Centennial Drive
  • Caledon East: Caledon Town Hall

The Town has also added Veteran Light Pole Wraps at the intersection of Old Church Road and Atchison Drive in Caledon East, and Main Street at Queen Street in Alton. Remembrance Day Banners have also been installed at various key locations near where ceremonies will take place, as a visible and lasting tribute to those who have served.
