The Town of Caledon's 2026 presented budget is available online

CALEDON, ON (November 3, 2025) – The Town of Caledon will present the 2026 Budget at the General Committee - Budget meeting on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. This marks the beginning of the formal budget review process, where Council and staff will have the opportunity to discuss priorities, investments and financial planning for the year ahead.

The 2026 Budget outlines key initiatives and funding to support services, infrastructure and community growth. A copy of the Budget Book is now available online at https://www.caledon.ca/budget.

“The 2026 Budget underscores our continued commitment to operational excellence and strategic growth,” said Nathan Hyde, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Town of Caledon. “As we look to the year ahead, we remain focused on delivering responsive services, strengthening our infrastructure, and supporting a growing, vibrant Caledon.”

“This budget reflects our ongoing commitment to fiscal responsibility and strategic investment in Caledon’s future,” said Robert Cummings, Commissioner of Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Town of Caledon. “We’ve worked hard to balance service delivery with long-term sustainability, building off public and community input through this year’s budget survey.”

In a recent community-wide survey, Caledon residents identified Roads Operations, Municipal Law Enforcement, Parks, Recreation and Community Services, and Fire & Emergency Services as top priorities for the 2026 Budget.
