The Town of Caledon appoints Susie Spry as Director of Municipal Law Enforcement
Caledon, ON (June 1, 2026) – The Town of Caledon announces the appointment of Susie Spry as Director of Municipal Law Enforcement, effective June 8, 2026.
Susie brings more than 29 years of municipal law enforcement experience to Caledon, including progressive leadership roles with the Town of Halton Hills and the City of Mississauga. She most recently served as Manager of Enforcement Services at the Town of Halton Hills, where she provided strategic leadership for by-law enforcement, canine control, parking enforcement and administrative operations, while overseeing staff, budgets and policy development.
Throughout her career, Susie has led complex enforcement initiatives, strengthened operational effectiveness and supported high-performing teams. Her experience includes administering Administrative Monetary Penalty Systems (AMPS), managing enforcement-related court proceedings, responding to Council inquiries and working collaboratively with police and community partners to enhance public safety and regulatory compliance.
“Susie is a collaborative and solutions-focused leader with a strong track record in municipal law enforcement,” said Judith D’Souza Soares, Commissioner of Community Services, Town of Caledon. “Her extensive experience, commitment to public service and ability to navigate complex and sensitive issues will be a strong asset to the Town as we continue to support safe and compliant communities.”
Susie holds a diploma in Law and Security Administration from Sheridan College, has completed Justice Studies at Toronto Metropolitan University, and holds professional certifications including Certified Municipal Law Enforcement Officer and Certified Property Standards
