RBC Canadian Open tees up in Caledon
CALEDON, ON (May 05, 2025) – The Town of Caledon is proud to be the official host community for the 2025 RBC Canadian Open, taking place June 4 – 8 at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley. This world-class tournament promises to shine a spotlight on Caledon’s scenic beauty, vibrant economy, and growing reputation as a premier sports tourism destination.
“We are thrilled to welcome the RBC Canadian Open to Caledon,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “This is more than a golf tournament – it’s a celebration of community, opportunity, and national pride. Thousands of fans, players, and professionals will experience the charm and hospitality of Caledon, while helping to showcase everything that makes our town such a special place to live, work and invest in.”
TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley, recognized as one of Canada’s top golf destinations, will host the Open on its North Course – a 7,400-yard championship layout designed to test the world’s best. The RBC Canadian Open further establishes Caledon as the Home for Canadian Golf, following the 2022 announcement of Golf Canada’s headquarters relocation to TPC Toronto.
“This is a landmark moment for Caledon and we’re proud to not only host this prestigious event in 2025, but again in 2026,” said Nathan Hyde, CAO, Town of Caledon. "This puts our town firmly on the international stage, drives growth for local tourism and hospitality, supports our business community, and reinforces Caledon’s position as one of Ontario’s most dynamic places to live, visit and invest.”
With a thriving tourism sector and a strong economic development vision, Caledon continues to attract new investment and national attention. The RBC Canadian Open will contribute to this momentum, drawing media, industry leaders, and fans from across the globe.
The Town of Caledon extends its appreciation to Golf Canada, the PGA Tour, RBC, and the team at TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley for their dedication and partnership in making this event a reality.
