The Town of Caledon is developing a Tree Preservation Bylaw to protect and enhance the community's urban tree canopy. This initiative is part of Caledon’s 2023–2035 Strategic Plan, reflecting our commitment to safeguard the natural environment and promote biodiversity.

Date: Wednesday, June 4, 2025

Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Location: Town Hall

This bylaw aims to regulate the removal of individual trees on private properties, ensuring that trees continue to provide valuable benefits such as improving air quality, supporting wildlife habitats, and enhancing community health.

We invite residents to attend the open house to learn more about the proposed bylaw, ask questions, and provide feedback. Town staff will be available to discuss the draft bylaw and its implications.
