This is to inform you that the Town of Caledon has received an application for a Temporary Use Zoning By-Law Amendment. Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.
Applicant and Location
Applicant: Gagnon Walker Domes Ltd. on behalf of Ishaan Holdings Inc.
Location: 6404 Mayfield Road
Concession a, Albion, Part of Lot 1 East
Proposed Changes
The applicant is proposing to amend Zoning By-law 2006-50, as amended, to rezone the subject lands for a temporary period of three (3) years from Agricultural (A1) to a site-specific Agricultural (A1-TXXX) Zone with site-specific standards. The amendment is proposed to permit a Transportation Depot, together with an Accessory Office Building, Storage Building, Open Storage Areas, and Parking Areas.
The proposal consists of 26 truck parking spaces, 10 trailer parking spaces, and 5 vehicle parking spaces, for a total of 41 parking spaces. The existing dwelling and garage will remain as-is, and the dwelling will remain vacant. The existing access from Mayfield Road will remain unchanged.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of the Town of Caledon to the Ontario Land Tribunal. If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, if one is held, or make written submissions to the Clerk of the Town of Caledon in respect of the proposed plan of subdivision before the approval authority gives or refuses to give approval to the draft plan of subdivision, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. |
