Notice of Public Consultation Centre #2

The Project

The Town of Caledon (Town, as co-proponents with the Humber Station Village Landowners Group Inc. (LOG) has initiated a "Schedule C" Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Study) for the extension of George Bolton Parkway to Humber Station Road, a structure over the Clarkway Tributary, a new north-south road south of George Bolton Parkway and provision of active transportation facilities along George Bolton Parkway in the Town of Caledon, within the Regional Municipality of Peel. The Town and LOG have engaged LEA Consulting Ltd. to conduct the Study.

Study Process

The Study will follow a Schedule ‘C’ project in accordance with the MCEA (2024) and will complete Phases 1 to 4 of the MCEA process. Two Public Consultation Centres (PCC) are being held for the study. The first PCC was held on June 18, 2024.

Public Consultation Centre #2

PCC #2 is being held on October 15, 2025 to present the evaluation of the road alignment alternatives and cross-sections for the George Bolton Parkway extension and north-south road, the identified preliminary recommended plan, and potential project affects and recommended mitigation measures, and obtain feedback on the study. Members of the Project Team will be available to answer questions and receive comments. Please provide comments on the PCC #2 presentation materials by October 29, 2025.

PCC #2 will be held as a drop-in style open house as follows:

• Date: October 15, 2025
• Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• Location: Humber River Centre - 28 Ann Street, Bolton, L7E 1B9

The presentation materials will be made available online following the event for individuals who cannot attend.
