Torbram Road Municipal Class Environmental Assessment

Notice of Public Consultation Centre #1

 

 

Study: The Town of Caledon (Town) is carrying out a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (MCEA) to evaluate options for the improvements to Torbram Road from Mayfield Road to Old School Road. The corridor is expected to experience significant increases in traffic volumes as a result of planned developments as well as broader regional growth and future transportation infrastructure such as Highway 413.

 

Process: The study is being carried out in accordance with the requirements of a Schedule C Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (October 2000, as amended 2024), which is approved under the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act.

 

 

Public Consultation Centre #1

Your input is a key component of this study. The first Public Consultation Centre (PCC) will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 to present information about the project, existing conditions, the need and justification for future improvements on Torbram Road and the recommended alternative solution to address future transportation needs along the corridor. The PCC will be held as a drop-in style open house, and members of the study team will be available to answer your questions.
