A statutory Public Meeting will be held to provide those interested an opportunity to make representation with respect to the proposed Zoning By-law Amendment application. Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.
Please be advised that the Town of Caledon is offering a Hybrid Committee and Council Meeting model with options for you to engage with Council, including in-person or virtual opportunities.

Proposed Changes
To amend the Zoning By-law for the subject lands to broaden and enhance the uses permitted on the Brampton Fairgrounds, including but not limited to, concerts, entertainment, festivals and events, a variety of recreational, cultural, and community service activities and banquets. The proposed amendment will also identify appropriate zone standards for the permitted uses, including but not limited to, parking standards.

| Appeal Procedure |
| If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Caledon to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.
If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so. |
