This is to inform you that the Town of Caledon has received an application for an Official Plan Amendment. A statutory Public Meeting will be held to provide those interested an opportunity to make representation with respect to this application. Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.
Please be advised that the Town of Caledon offers a Hybrid Committee and Council Meeting model with options for you to engage with Planning and Development Committee, including in-person or virtual opportunities.
Meeting Details:

- Attend in-person: Register to delegate in-person and speak to an item listed on the agenda or sit in the gallery to watch the meeting.
- Submit written comments: Submit written comments regarding the proposed application by completing the Participation Request Form, available at www.caledon.ca/speak-at-council

Proposed Changes:
The applicant has submitted an Official Plan Amendment application (File: POPA 2025-0012) to facilitate the proposed Tullamore North West Secondary Plan. The proposed Secondary Plan has an area of approximately 166 hectares (410 acres), with approximately 50 hectares (124 acres) consisting of existing natural heritage features and associated buffers. The proposed amendment establishes a planning policy framework for future employment uses and for the protection of natural features through appropriate land-use designations.
