NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

Playground Improvements at
R.W. Moffat Park, Whitbread Park and Newhouse Park
R.W. Moffat Park: Work includes the replacement of the existing playground structure complete with engineered wood fibre safety surfacing, drainage, concrete perimeter curbs and accessible concrete ramp access into the play area. Site improvements also include a new accessible pathway to the playground, accessible seating area and a permanent trash receptacle. This park is located at 17 Goodfellow Crescent, in Bolton.
Whitbread Park: Work includes the replacement of the existing playground structure complete with engineered wood fibre safety surfacing, new concrete curb perimeter at the existing swing set area and accessible concrete ramp accesses into both the play and swing set areas. Site improvements also include replacement of the existing concrete unit paving with concrete paving, bench replacements and a permanent trash receptacle. This park is located at 27 Whitbread Avenue, in Bolton.
Newhouse Park: Work includes the replacement of the existing playground and swing set complete with engineered wood fibre safety surfacing, modifications to the existing sand play areas, and accessible concrete ramp access into the play area. Site improvements include the removal and restoration of a dead-end pathway connection, bench replacements and a permanent trash receptacle. This park is located at 16 Cliffview Court, in the Valleywood subdivision (Mayfield West).
No road closures are required for improvements at each location. Neighbouring properties of the park can expect construction noise at times throughout the day for the duration of the project. Playground and pathway closures will occur during the active construction period of each site to ensure public safety. The construction window at each location is anticipated to be approximately 1 month long.
Anticipated Start Date: Wednesday, April 1, 2026
Anticipated End Date: Friday, June 19, 2026
