This is to inform you that the Town of Caledon has received an application for a Zoning By-law Amendment (Temporary Use). Your input and insight will inform and shape plans that meet the needs of our community.

Proposed Changes

The applicant is proposing to amend the Zoning By-law to allow truck and trailer parking, open storage, and an associated office use on the subject lands for a maximum of three (3) years on the lands. The proposed amendment will also identify appropriate development standards for the permitted uses.

Appeal Procedure

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Town of Caledon to the Ontario Land Tribunal but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Town of Caledon before the proposed by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Ontario Land Tribunal unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.
