Proposed Changes

The applicant has submitted a Zoning By-law Amendment application to permit the overall development of the subject lands which are to be comprised of residential and commercial uses, park and natural heritage features, and stormwater management facilities. The lands are currently zoned to permit a range of uses including agricultural, environmental protection, commercial and residential development, and are subject to Holding provisions in accordance with Zoning By-law 2006-50, as amended.

The lands are proposed to be rezoned to align the current zoning with the recently approved Mount Hope West Secondary Plan. The application also seeks to add residential uses to the commercial zone and include exceptions to the development standards for residential development. Further, it is proposed that the holding symbols associated with the current zones are not carried over with the rezoning of these lands.
