Have your say on Caledon’s 2027 budget

CALEDON, ON (August 4, 2026) – The Town of Caledon is preparing its 2027 budget and invites residents and businesses to share their input through a public survey. Your feedback will help inform decisions that shape the future of our community.

The survey will remain open until September 11, 2026.

"This budget reflects our commitment to delivering value for residents while planning responsibly for the future," said Mayor Annette Groves. "Community input is an important part of the process, helping us make informed decisions that support a strong, sustainable, and thriving Caledon."

As the Town begins preparing the 2027 Budget, it does so from a position of financial strength. Over the past several years, Caledon has maintained a disciplined approach to financial management while continuing to deliver the high-quality services residents rely on. This strong foundation positions the Town to respond to evolving community needs, invest strategically in future priorities and infrastructure, and support long-term financial sustainability.

"Every budget is an opportunity to align our fiscal resources with the needs of our growing community," said Robert Cummings, Commissioner of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). "By carefully balancing service delivery with prudent spending, we're building on our success and ensuring the Town remains well-equipped to meet future challenges and opportunities."

Following public consultation, the Town staff will present a proposed budget to Council later this year.
