Construction Update - Johnston Sports Park

Johnston Sports Park (6898 King St) is under construction, with the current phase anticipated to be complete by the end of October 2026.

This phase brings upgrades to expand our park’s capacity and amenities, ensuring we support community vitality and livability:

• 3 senior soccer fields (100m x 60m)
• 1 artificial turf cricket pitch
• New sports field lighting for evening games
• A brand-new parking lot for easier access
• Additional pathways and seating areas
• A comprehensive irrigation system to keep the turf in top shape

Upon completion, Johnston Sports Park will be a key hub for sporting activities and help us meet the growing needs of our community.
