NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

RFT 2025-173 – Mountainview Road Emergency Culvert Replacement Works

Between Beech Grove Sideroad and Highway 9

Phase 3 – Final Paving and Restoration Works

The Town of Caledon has recently completed emergency culvert replacement works on Mountainview Road (GPS location: 43.931606, -79.972898) located between Beech Grove Sideroad and Highway 9. Much of the culvert replacement works were completed, however; due to weather delays, final paving and restoration works associated with this project were delayed until the spring of 2026.

Full Road Closure. Designated detour route is St Andrews Road to Highway 9. Local traffic will be permitted; however, the road will be closed to complete the paving and restoration work so flow through traffic will not be available during these works. The work is anticipated to start on the week of May 4, 2026.

Anticipated Commencement Date: May 4, 2026

Anticipated Completion Date: June 5, 2026
