Construction Notice - RFT # 2025-086 - Mill Street Bridge Erosion Protection Works

 NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

 Mill Street Bridge Erosion Protection Works (near intersection of Creditview Road and Mill Street, Village of Cheltenham)

The initial phase of the Mill Street bridge (ID: B27634041) rehabilitation works were completed in the Fall of 2024. The second phase of the Mill Street bridge improvement works involves installing in-water erosion controls around the bridge foundations to prevent localized scouring which could impact the overall safety of the bridge structure.

Partial lane closure at the bridge crossing will be required to complete these works. The works are anticipated to start the week of August 25, 2025.  Increased traffic and delays within this section of road are to be expected throughout the duration of the erosion protection project.

Anticipated Commencement Date: August 25, 2025 

Anticipated Completion Date: September 19, 2025
