NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

Phase 2 Main Street Rehabilitation, Alton

 

As part of Phase 2 of RFT 2025-62, Main Street from Richardson Court to Garafraxa Town Line will be closed for the duration of the project. The road will be repaved, including paved shoulders in suitable areas, and new guiderail installation for hazardous and sensitive roadside areas. A single lane will be open at all times for local traffic only.

 Access for Emergency Services, Student Transportation Services, Waste Collection, and Postal Services will all be maintained at all times. Road reconstruction notification signs will be installed and maintained throughout the project. The work is anticipated to commence:

 

Anticipated Commencement Date: Monday April 6, 2026

Anticipated Completion Date: Friday September 18, 2026
