Construction Notice: RFT 2024-28 - P002 Pedestrian Bridge Rehabilitation

NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

 Rehabilitation of P002 Pedestrian Bridge Over Hwy 10

Bridge rehabilitation works will be completed on the pedestrian bridge structure (ID: P002), on Caledon Trailway over Hwy 10, approx. 1.32 km South of the Grange Side Road in Caledon.

The works are anticipated to start the week of May 19^th, 2025. This work will include bridge rehabilitation, bearing replacement, asphalt removal and repaving, GFRP repairs and site restoration.

Access for school buses, emergency services, mail, and waste disposal vehicles will be maintained during this project. Credit Valley Trail (Between Caledon Trailway and Ken Whillans Conservation Area Parking Lot) will be temporarily closed from May 19, 2025 to August 15, 2025. Caledon Trailway (Between Mclaughlin Road and Kennedy Road) will be temporarily closed for short term during the bridge rehabilitation. An advanced notice for Caledon Trailway closure will be provided for the duration of the closure. Please see attached key plan.
