NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION

Project No. 2026-233-IN-000 - Edmund Street Culvert Replacement Work

 

Routine culvert replacement works will be completed on Edmund Street, between Caledon Street and Cardwell Street within the Village of Alton.

 

Full Road Closure will be required. Residents impacted on Cardwell Street will detour to Station Street for access to their properties; access to residential driveways will be maintained at all times. Local traffic will be permitted, however there will be an open cut within the road to complete the culvert replacement works so flow through traffic will not be available during these works. The works are anticipated to start on the week of September 28, 2026.

Anticipated Commencement Date: September 28, 2026

Anticipated Completion Date: October 9, 2026
