Construction Notice: Caledon Trailway and Mill Street Culvert Replacement Works

Trailway closures are required along two segments of the Caledon Trailway to complete routine culvert replacement works along the trailway as well as a neighboring roadway.

RFT 2025-067 – Caledon Trailway Culverts
Routine culvert replacement works will be completed on the Caledon Trailway, between Winston Churchill Boulevard and Heritage Road within the Village of Terra Cotta, Caledon.

To avoid possible interactions between the patrons of the trailway and our contractor, the Town is proposing to close the section of trailway down from Winston Churchill Boulevard to Heritage Road to minimize the risk of possible incidents.

RFT 2025-022 – Mill Street Culvert Replacement Works
Routine culvert replacement works will be completed on Mill Street within the Village of Cheltenham, Caledon. The culvert replacement works involves an open cut within the road that will impact the trailway traffic through the Mill Street crossing.

To avoid possible interactions between the patrons of the trailway and our contractor, we have proposed to close the section of trailway down from Mississauga Road to Creditview Road to minimize the risk of possible incidents.

Note: The trailway will be open for public use from Heritage Road to Mississauga Road with limited access to the larger trailway network.

Full Trail closure will be required to complete the culvert replacement works. The works are anticipated to start the week of June 9, 2025.
