Municipal Clerk for the Town of Caledon certifies candidate nominations for the 2026 Municipal Elections. 

With the close of the nomination period on August 21, 2026, and the passing of the legislated deadline to change, withdraw, or register as a candidate for the 2026 Municipal Elections, the Municipal Clerk for the Town of Caledon has certified the nominations pursuant to section 35 of the Municipal Elections Act, 1996, for the following candidates:

"With nominations now certified, we hope residents have a clear picture of the candidates seeking elected office, and we encourage all eligible voters to ensure they are on the voters' list and to mark their calendars with the important election dates."

  • October 9, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.   

  • October 10, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.   

  • October 18, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.   

  • October 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.   

Voting Day: 

  • October 26, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.   

About the 2026 Municipal Election 

The next municipal election will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026.Caledon voters will vote by paper ballot at any voting location in the Town to elect the Mayor of the Town of Caledon, Ward and Regional Councillors, and School Board Trustees to serve during the 2026 to 2030 Council term of office.
