Caledon Culture Days returns with free events for everyone

September 4, 2026 (CALEDON, ON) – Culture Days is returning to Caledon from September 18 to October 4, bringing 16 days of free arts, culture and heritage activities to communities across the Town. The celebration will give residents and visitors a chance to discover the heritage, local artists, creators, and performers through a range of events and hands-on activities.

A Culture Days flag raising at Town Hall on Thursday, September 17 at 11 a.m. will officially kick off this year’s celebration and we welcome the community to take part.

“Culture Days is a great way to bring people together and make it easier for everyone to take part in the arts,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “With so many free events and activities, residents can discover local talent, try something new, connect with others and celebrate the people and cultures that make Caledon such a vibrant community.”

Festival highlights

With so many workshops, performances and interactive activities happening across Caledon, three events are key highlights of this year’s celebration:

Caledon Creative Arts Weekend*

Caledon Under the Stars

• Friday, September 25 – Caledon East Community Complex
• 6 - 10 p.m.
• Featuring live music, local theatre, food and drinks under the open sky!

Caledon Creative Arts Festival

• Saturday, September 26 – Caledon East Community Complex
• 1 – 6 p.m.
• Explore local artists and makers, enjoy live performances and take part in free hands-on workshops.

Caledon CultureFEST

• Saturday, October 3 – Humber River Centre
• 3:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• A celebration of Caledon’s diverse cultures through music, dance, food and crafts.

Caledon Studio Tour

• Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4 – Studios all over Caledon
• 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on both days
• A self-guided tour through local artists’ studios, giving a peek into their creative process.

“Culture Days is a great opportunity to enjoy Caledon by trying something new and enjoying the creativity we have locally,” said Judith D’Souza Soares, Commissioner of Community Services. “There are free events for all ages whether you live in Caledon or are just visiting. I encourage everyone to access the schedule and find something that meets their interest.”
