Caledon Culture Days – Call for Artist Proposals now open
April 22, 2025 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon announces the Call for Artist Proposals for the 2025 Culture Days Festival, running from September 19 to October 12, 2025. In 2024 Caledon was honoured to rank in the Top 10 across Canada for Culture Days. and has now been designated an official Ontario Culture Days Provincial Festival Hub with this year’s celebration is shaping up to be bigger than ever before.
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts, culture, and heritage featuring three weeks of free, hands-on, “behind-the-scenes” experiences with local creators. The Town is currently seeking local performers, artists, workshop leaders, and organizations to host participatory events that will shine a spotlight on Caledon’s creative and cultural vibrancy.
Flagship events in this year’s festival include:
- Caledon Creative Arts Festival – Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the Caledon East Community Complex
- Caledon CultureFest – Saturday, October 4, 2025 at the Humber River Centre
- Caledon Studio Tour – October 4 and 5, 2025 at studios across Caledon

Supporting Culture Days not only gives artists and creators the platform they deserve—it also brings us together, strengthens connections, and enhances our sense of community living and belonging.”

Applications are currently open for the following until Friday, June 6, 2025 at Caledon.ca/CultureDays:
- Call for Culture Days Proposals
- Call for Studios for the Caledon Studio Tour
- Call for Performers, Vendors, Workshop Leaders, and Food Vendors for the Caledon Creative Arts Festival
New in 2025, applicants must submit an event or activity proposal for consideration. Successful proposals may be eligible to receive up to $400 in partnership funding to bring the idea to life.
Interested individuals and organizations are encouraged to attend an online information session on Tuesday, May 13 at 12:00 p.m. to learn more.
