Caledon and Mayor Groves to Celebrate Women in Sport with the Brampton Steelheads

January 27, 2026 - (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is proud to celebrate the impact and achievements of women in sport at Caledon Night with the Brampton Steelheads on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the CAA Centre.

This special game night will spotlight Women in Sport, featuring inspiring stories and recognition of trailblazing women who continue to break barriers, lead change, and inspire future generations—both on and off the ice. Mayor Annette Groves will be in attendance to help celebrate the occasion alongside residents and hockey fans from across the community.

“Sport has the power to build confidence, create opportunity, and bring communities together,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “Celebrating women in sport is about recognizing leadership, resilience, and the positive role models who are inspiring the next generation to dream big and aim high.”

Tickets are $16 each, with $3.50 from every ticket supporting Caledon Meals on Wheels, helping to give back to the community while celebrating women who are making an impact in sport.
