Award-winning Diwali Drone Show returns at new location

September 26, 2025 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is excited to celebrate the Festival of Lights at a new venue this year, the Brampton Fairgrounds (12942 Heartlake Road, Caledon). On Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 7:30 p.m., our award-winning Diwali Drone Show will return, featuring over 200 drones illuminating the night sky with dazzling displays of symbols that reflect the spirit and traditions of Diwali.

“The Diwali Drone Show has become one of Caledon’s most anticipated traditions, bringing people together in a way that is safe, innovative, and environmentally responsible,” said Judith D’Souza Soares, Commissioner of Community Services. “By hosting events like this we’re strengthening connections, celebrating cultural diversity, and enhancing the quality of life for our growing community. We look forward to another spectacular celebration this year.”

Take our free Shuttle!

To help make attending easier and more convenient, the Town will be providing a free shuttle service from 6 – 7:30 p.m. to the show, and return shuttle service from 8 – 10 p.m.

The shuttle service will be available at the following locations:

  • Southfields Community Centre
  • Mayfield West area (exact location/intersection to be confirmed)

The Diwali Drone Show is weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, the drone show will be rescheduled for Sunday, October 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Personal use of fireworks is prohibited

The sale of fireworks and the use of personal fireworks isn’t permitted in Caledon.

Any person who violates any provisions of the Fireworks By-law is guilty of an offence and may be subject to a fine up to $615 or progressively increased penalties.
