2026 Diwali Drone Show and Festival – Call for Participants

September 9, 2026 (CALEDON, ON) – The Town of Caledon is looking for food vendors and performers to take part in this year’s Diwali Drone Show and Festival on Saturday, November 7, from 6 - 9 p.m. (weather dependent*) at the Brampton Fairgrounds, located at 12942 Heartlake Road in Caledon.

The annual event brings the community together to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Lights, with food, entertainment, and a spectacular drone show. The Town is inviting food vendors and performers who would like to be part of the celebration to apply.

“We’re looking forward to bringing the community together again for an evening of celebration and fun,” said Judith D’Souza Soares, Commissioner of Community Services. “Food and entertainment are such an important part of creating a memorable event, and we’re excited to welcome local vendors and performers who want to share their food, music and talents with the community.”

Food vendors will have an opportunity to serve attendees throughout the event, while performers will help provide entertainment during the evening. The Town is particularly interested in vendors and performers who can help reflect the spirit and traditions of Diwali and the diversity of our community.

*A make-up date due to weather will take place on Sunday, November 8 at the same time and location.

Reminder - Personal use of fireworks is prohibited

The sale of fireworks and the use of personal fireworks is not permitted in Caledon.

Any person who violates any provisions of the Fireworks By-law is guilty of an offence and may be subject to a fine up to $615 or progressively increased penalties.
