2026 Caledon Council Community Golf Tournament Supports Local Community Projects

CALEDON, ON (August 12, 2026) – The Town of Caledon announces the primary grant recipients of the 2026 Caledon Council Community Golf Tournament (CCCGT). Following a record fundraising year in 2025, funding will support five organizations and projects that benefit residents across Caledon.

“It is wonderful we have multiple primary grant recipients this year,” said Mayor Annette Groves. “Each of these organizations has an important role in our community and they improve the quality of life in Caledon. This tournament is helping improve the lives of others by funding programs and services that may not otherwise be possible.” 

2026 Primary Grant Recipients:

  • Caledon Agricultural Society – Community centre security system improvements
  • Caledon Community Services – Accessible transit vehicle
  • Caledon Elementary Academy – Educational resources and capital improvements
  • Renewed Hope – Facility renovations
  • Headwaters Health Care Centre Foundation – Medical equipment, including scanners and an EKG machine

“As Chair of the 2026 Caledon Council Community Golf Tournament, it is a privilege to support fundraising efforts that advance these meaningful causes,” said Ward 6 Councillor and CCCGT Committee Chair Councillor Cosimo Napoli. “The requests we received will have a positive impact across Caledon.”

“The funds raised through this tournament are an investment in our community and in Caledon's future. We were impressed by the quality of the applications received, and the CCCGT funds will enable these initiatives to become a reality,” said Regional Councillor for Wards 4, 5, & 6, and CCCGT Vice Chair Mario Russo. 

About the Grant Program
Applications for CCCGT primary and secondary grants, as well as the Beffort Scholarship, are available annually through the Town's website. Funding supports non-profit organizations and capital projects that benefit the Caledon community.
