Fire safety keeps going as Daylight Savings Time for 2023 ends

October 31, 2023 – With the end of Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, November 5, residents are reminded to test smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) alarms when turning clocks back by one hour. Change the Hour, Check the Power.  If necessary, replace the batteries or the entire unit. All alarms (electrically powered or battery) should be replaced after 10 years.

Construction Notice for 23-123 - Playground Improvements

Work includes the replacement of existing play structure and safety surfacing, along with new accessible limestone screen pathway within the park. The area of construction will be enclosed within construction fencing. No road closures will be in place, however due to proximity, the existing swings may require closure at certain times throughout construction.

October 20, 2023 - This morning, the Town of Caledon was made aware of a fatal, three-vehicle collision on Mayfield Road near Goreway Drive involving two commercial vehicles and one passenger vehicle.
