Changes coming to level 3 electric vehicle charging stations

Electric vehicles have been quickly gaining popularity in Ontario and across Canada due to their environmental benefits. The Town of Caledon and its Council have actively supported electric vehicles through the installation of both Level 2 and Level 3 charging stations.

As approved in the 2018 budget, the Level 3 electric vehicle charging stations owned by the Town of Caledon will be pay-per-use of $0.17/minute, effective February 1, 2018, which equates to $5.10 for a 30 minute charge. Level 2 charging...
