The Future Expansion of Caledon East Community Centre

The Town of Caledon is hosting an open house on Thursday, June 7, 2018 about the future expansion of the Caledon East Community Complex.

The Town is in the process of designing the phase 3 expansion which is intended to provide additional amenities such as:

A new full service fitness centre
A warm viewing area to the arena
Accessible access to the existing viewing area of pad two
A multi-purpose gymnasium
An integrated walking track
An aerobics studio
A dedicated youth/seniors space

The Town of Caledon will host a lunch and learn with the Environmental Commissioner of Ontario (ECO), Dr. Dianne Saxe, who will discuss Ontario’s environmental performance and progress towards climate change action. Caledon presents first ever Accessibility Award for Business

The Town of Caledon today presented its inaugural Accessibility Award for Business to KeyKeeper, a manufacturer of secure night drop boxes and key drop boxes located in Bolton.

Lina Marino Parking Lot Resurfacing

The Town of Caledon Community Services has contracted parking lot resurfacing work at Lina Marino Park, located in Valleywood.

Work includes the removal of the existing asphalt surfacing and the installation of a new asphalt parking lot. The parking lot will be closed during construction.

The parking lot closure for this work will be effective as of:

with an anticipated completion date of Friday, June 1, 2018.

The Town of Caledon marked the beginning of Tourism Week (May 27 to June 2, 2018) with a flag-raising ceremony at Town Hall on Monday, May 28, 2018.
