The Town of Caledon is conducting a study to evaluate the drainage issues on George Street and McFaul Street in the Village of Caledon. The objective of the study is to identify a preferred solution for mitigating
the drainage issues within the study area

Town awards first-ever Beffort Scholarships to local students

Local students Gracie Kehoe and Amanda Cannon are the first-ever recipients of the Doug and Doreen Beffort Legacy Scholarship. Funded out of proceeds from the Caledon Council Community Golf Tournament, the two $1,000 scholarships support current or former residents of Caledon pursuing a post-secondary degree in the field of education.

To affirm the importance of tourism in Caledon, Council is proclaiming May 26 to June 1 Tourism Week in Caledon.
“Tourism is a key contributor to Caledon’s economy,” said Mayor Allan Thompson. “From craft beer and cider to arts and culture to sports and recreation, our tourism operators are dynamic, entrepreneurial and creative and our natural, cultural and heritage assets are second-to-none.”
