TAKE NOTICE that the Council for The Corporation of the Town of Caledon has passed a by-law to designate Moffat Schoolhouse as being of cultural heritage value or interest under Section 39 of the Ontario Heritage Act, R.S.O 1990, Chapter 0.18.

The Town of Caledon has partnered with Immanuel Christian Reformed Church to create a community garden to help beautify the Mayfield Recreation Complex, in honor of the Church’s 70th anniversary. A groundbreaking ceremony will take place to celebrate this partnership, along with recognizing the need for ongoing community partners.

Renovations plan set for an inclusive and accessible park

The Town of Caledon had partnered with Palgrave Rotary Club to renovate an existing park into a fully-inclusive and accessible play and gathering place for seniors, families and individuals with special needs. This project represents an $85,000 investment for which the Town of Caledon is contributing $45,000 and Palgrave Rotary Club is contributing $40,000. Renovations took place in Westview Park which was re-named as Norma Bangay Park.
